The Word of God adamantly declares in Hosea 4:6 that: "my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children."

Based upon this text from the mouth of God, it is safe to conclude that education is important to God... not just education or so-called secular education however, but this aforementioned text also includes the importance of Biblical education/knowledge as well. God wants us to know or have that knowledge that is needed to do our jobs in our careers of choice and he also wants us to know His word. With that said, we want you to know that we are adamant about you getting an education and embarking upon a successful career of your choice. As such, we have put together, and will continue putting together, information and forging relationships with those that helps us to help you get to that next level in your life and purpose. Understand, also, that all we do is based upon a Kingdom mind-set and in the hopes that you too will mature to a similar level in your belief... that of using your time and resources to build and advance the Kingdom of God upon this earth. We read in Mathew 11:25 these words of Jesus: “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.

Read further and you will find Him saying in Mathew 18:3 that: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

In its proper perspective you will find that youth is important to our God... not just in physical make up but in spirit as well. He intends and expects that we become like little children before we can begin to become useable. He desires for us to care for the little children and as we grow to maintain a child-like mind set and spirit. At YOOL Fest our Youth Ministry is built upon this foundation. To put it in simple terms, it can be said that we use child-like adults to minister to our children and that includes individuals of so-called small and large stature in our society in one for of expertise or another. It is not uncommon to see doctors, lawyers, superstar athletes and other professionals engaging the youth in ministry teaching them how to handle day to day issues in their lives with the intent being to grow up and become successful contributors to society and give back to little children in the same manner in which they themselves recieved decades of years prior. We make no excuses for how we prioritize the teachings of Jesus Christ and the principles that He left us while walking the earth. All we do, in fact, are based upon what He has done in the past and we credit that mind-set of relying on His teachings for all our successes in our YOOL Fest effort as well as our efforts in other areas such as our business, ministry and personal life. As it pertains to prayer, we do not deviate from this mind-set of relying on Jesus' example and as such, we have included below a few examples from The Gospels that we have deemed to be pertinent to the subject of prayer and the legacy on the subject that Christ has left behind for our benefit and success in this spiritual area. Matthew 6:5-6 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Matthew 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Mark 11:25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Luke 11:1-2 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, “When you pray, say: “‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

Meaningless! Everything Is Meaningless! At quick glance it could be easily concluded that this is the stance or opinion of YOOLFest.Org but it is not. This is the conclusion which the wise man came to and God decided it was worth being penned for the benefit of His people. You can read these words in Ecclesiastes 1:1-2. They are as follows: "The words of the Teacher, son of David, king in Jerusalem: “Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless.”

This is how the author, deemed to be (without question) Solomon, started out his text but thanks be to God -- it did not end it there. In fact it ended in a very profound way, one that affords all who will listen, a way in which anyone can live and not only that, but leave a lasting legacy as it pertains to their life. In a nut shell -- we all can live a life with impact and purpose and this is what the Wise Man said we need to do if we are to live a life with meaning.

The Conclusion of the Matter (A meaningful life) Ecclesiastes 12:9-14

⁹ Not only was the Teacher wise, but he also imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs. ¹⁰ The Teacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true. ¹¹ The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails—given by one shepherd.¹² Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body. ¹³ Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. ¹⁴ For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

Throughout The Bible, the exploits and actions of women can be seen from Genesis to Revelation. While some are note worthy, some are not. Never the less, God has seen fit to include their deeds for both good and evil in His word. We then would be out of sync, I believe, with our God if we should choose to limit our ministy to some while excluding others. Arm with that kind of thought, we have set out, with the help of lay people, ministers as well as professionals, to create a living entity that is able to meet the needs of each woman on an individual basis exactly where they are. As any woman will tell, no two share the same kind of troubles or experiences. While some issues or life experiences might over lap or criss-cross for a specific period of time, no two have experienced the identical situation nor has its impact on said person the same as it affect their neighbor. Knowing this we are endeavoring to create a ministry that functions like water running down a hill -- seeping into corners and crevices, hidden and concealed places not readily evident to persons on the outside looking in but which is only available, accessable and visible to the spirit -filled mature and righteous minister who is equipped to go in and effect these private issues in the life of the sister-child of God.

This is not a cookie-cutter type of ministry, entity or effort. Instead it comes where you are, meets you at your need and with the help and power of the Spirit of God, frees you from the things that limits your ability to not only see God in His Glory but to experience His love, grace and compassion in a worthwile and lasting way. It is Chirst and His Spirit in action at the highest level possible, given the frailities of man. It is Kingdom persons doing Kingdom business.
